England Women ran in seven tries as they romped to victory against Italy Women on an artifical pitch - a first for the Six Nations - in Recco.
Rochelle Clark, Emily Scarratt, Ceri Large, Michaela Staniford, Rachael Burford and Georgina Roberts went over, while there was also a penalty try.
England boss Gary Street said: "The performance was a mixed bag really.
"Some of our tries were world class and we showed some real brilliance but we also struggled a bit."
Defending champions England won their opening match against Scotland 47-0 and Sunday's win means they continue to lead the Six Nations table.
"Next up we face Wales at Twickenham in two weeks' time," added Street.
"We now have a week to iron out some areas of our game as we know Wales will like nothing better than inflicting a win on us on our home turf."
