Fly-half Joe Ford missed a last-minute conversion for Leeds Carnegie as Plymouth Albion held on for victory in a nine-try thriller at the Brickfields.
Leeds led 21-15 with tries from Curtis Wilson, Ryan Burrows and Pete Lucock, while Sam Hocking and debutant Toby Howley-Berridge crossing for Albion.
Phil Neilson scored a bonus-point try for Leeds, who fell behind to a penalty try and Jack Arnott's score.
Jacob Rowan scored late on for Leeds, only for Ford to miss the conversion.
