Championship side Bristol have agreed to sign London Wasps fly-half Nicky Robinson at the end of this season.

Former Wales international Robinson has made 31 appearances for Wasps since joining them from Gloucester in 2011.

But the 31-year-old will be allowed to leave the Premiership side for the Memorial Ground in the summer.

"I'm pleased because he's courted a lot of interest and been linked with a number of clubs," head coach Liam Middleton told BBC Radio Bristol.

"But I sat down with him a couple of weeks ago and said this is the things we are doing, this is our environment and culture.

"I was so chuffed when he came back and said I'm in with you guys."
