Worcester Warriors are through to the quarter-finals of the British and Irish Cup after a dramatic 23-18 win over Munster A in Cork on Friday night.

Warriors were down 15-6 at the break at the Cork Institute of Technology.

But second-half tries from Jean-Baptiste Bruzulier and Charlie Mulchrone, combined with the reliable kicking of Ignacio Mieres helped them compete the comeback.

Mieres kicked both conversions, as well as three penalties.

His individual 13-point haul helped Warriors maintain their 100% winning record in Pool 3.

Victory in their final game, at home to Nottingham next Saturday, will guarantee a home quarter-final.

Worcester have now won their last 12 league and cup matches - a stark contrast to a year ago, when they were in the middle of a similar losing run.
