Cardiff Blues: Billy Millard is new head of elite performance

Billy Millard returned to Australia in 2010 after two years at Cardiff Blues admitting he had missed his home in Australia.

Cardiff Blues have appointed their former assistant coach Billy Millard as head of elite performance.

Australian Millard will be responsible for player recruitment and retention, and the development of coaches.

He was backs coach with the Blues when they won the Amlin Challenge Cup and what is now the Anglo-Welsh LV= Cup.

He has since worked at Connacht for two seasons before moving in 2013 to the USA, where he has been their national high performance manager.
