RBS Six Nations: France v Scotland

Venue: Stade de France, Paris Date: Saturday, 7 February Kick-off: 17:00 GMT Coverage: Live on BBC TV, HD, Red Button, Radio 5 live, the BBC Sport website, mobile, the BBC Sport app and Connected TV.

Glasgow prop Ryan Grant has been added to the Scotland squad for the Six Nations after being acquitted of an assault charge.

The 29-year-old was left out of Vern Cotter's original pool while the case against him went to court.

With the charge against him "not proven", Grant is free to add to his 19 international caps.

Warriors team-mate Ryan Wilson faces a disciplinary hearing next week after he was convicted of a double assault.

The flanker, who has played nine times for Scotland, was suspended by the Scottish Rugby Union last week after being convicted of assaulting two men, including fellow rugby player Ally Maclay, during a Halloween night out in October 2013.

Scotland open their Six Nations campaign with a visit to France next Saturday.

Last week, number eight Johnnie Beattie was called up to Cotter's squad following a number of injury concerns.

Loose forward David Denton and winger Sean Maitland will miss the start of the tournament because of injury.
