Worcester remain within three points of Championship leaders Bristol going into the final three weekends of the season.

The Warriors' eight-try 56-15 home win over third-placed London Scottish briefly took them back to the top of the table on Saturday evening.

But Bristol responded with a bonus-point victory of their own on Sunday, beating Bedford 38-14.

The two teams are scheduled to meet on the final day of the league campaign at Sixways on 25 April.

The race for promotion

Worcester return to Championship action in a fortnight's time at home to Yorkshire Carnegie on 11 April. Before then, they face another Yorkshire side, Doncaster, in the final of the British & Irish Cup at Castle Park on Good Friday (3 April)

Warriors had eight different try scorers in Saturday's triumph.

Stand-off Ryan Lamb, prop Ryan Bower and full-back Chris Pennell crossed before the break, all converted by Andy Symons for a narrow 21-15 interval lead.

But Dean Ryan's men cut loose after the break, scoring five unanswered tries.

Debutant Cooper Vuna, fellow winger Sam Smith, flanker Sam Betty, centre Max Stelling and scrum-half Jonny Arr all scored, Symons adding another five conversions for an individual haul of 16 points with the boot.
