Ceri Sweeney leaves Exeter Chiefs to rejoin Pontypridd

Ceri Sweeney played for Wales at the 2003 World Cup

Welsh international fly-half Ceri Sweeney has rejoined Welsh Premiership side Pontypridd after leaving Exeter Chiefs.

Sweeney made his professional debut for Pontypridd in 1998, going on to make 92 appearances for the club.

The 35-year-old then played for Celtic Warriors, Newport Gwent Dragons, Cardiff Blues and Exeter.

Sweeney won his first cap for Wales against Italy in 2003 and won the last of his 35 against South Africa in 2007.
