Wales prop Gethin Jenkins will be fit in time to face South Africa in Cardiff on Saturday.

Jenkins has recovered from a shoulder injury which ruled him out of the 33-30 win over Japan and is poised to make his 129th international appearance.

The 35-year-old loose-head was injured in the 24-20 win over Argentina when he captained the side.

"Gethin's trained today, he's a smart operator," skills coach Neil Jenkins told BBC Sport Wales.

"He's not getting any younger, but he certainly knows what it's all about to play at this level and he looks in good shape."

Wales will also have number eight Taulupe Faletau available again after he played 55 minutes in his comeback for Bath against Bristol, following a 12-week lay-off with a knee injury.

South Africa will be without key lock forward Eben Etzebeth, who has failed to recover from concussion suffered in the 37-21 defeat by England on 12 November.

Etzebeth was missing when Italy beat the Springboks 20-18 in Florence on Saturday - their second defeat of the autumn tour.

Wales and South Africa are due to name their teams on Thursday, 24 November.
