Wales will assess the fitness of Liam Williams on Tuesday before Saturday's match against New Zealand.

Williams limped off with an abdominal injury in Wales' 13-6 win over Georgia on Saturday and coach Warren Gatland says medical staff will check the player "in the next 24-28 hours".

Flanker Justin Tipuric [thigh] is back in training but tight-head prop Samson Lee [Achilles] is a major doubt.

New Zealand will be without wing Rieko Ioane and lock Luke Romano in Cardiff.

Ioane has a shoulder injury and Romano a foot problem following their 22-17 win over Scotland at Murrayfield.

Williams played in the 29-21 defeat against Australia and the narrow win over the Lelos, but hobbled off in the second half.

Tipuric and Lee have not played in the series so far, with the Ospreys flanker on course to be available to face the All Blacks.

But Scarlet Lee is likely to miss the games against New Zealand on 25 November and South Africa on 2 December.

"I would doubt that he would take part given how late it is in this campaign," said Gatland.

"He hasn't done on his feet. He's been doing a lot of boxing and cycling and not even cycling so much.

"We haven't even had him on them pitch and the first time we put him in boots it was sore."

With Lee out, the tight-head spot will be between Tomas Francis - who was a second half replacement against Georgia, and Leon Brown who started that match.

If Williams is unfit to face Steve Hansen's side, Gatland has the option of keeping 2013 Lion Alex Cuthbert or try-scorer Hallam Amos on the wing after they faced Georgia.

Rhys Priestland, who returned for Wales against Georgia, says it would be "a big surprise" if he is named to face the All Blacks.

"We will wait and see, I won't hold my breath," said Bath fly-half Priestland.

The former Scarlet expects another glut of changes after being one of 14 players brought in to face Georgia.

He added: "We have been in this situation before when we have perhaps underperformed in the game against a tier two nation and everyone is doom and gloom.

"And then, changes happen and the boys up their game, because if you don't up your game against the All Blacks it is going to be a very tough day at the office."
