Scotland: Jones ruled out of tour after Fife joins squad

Lee Jones has been ruled out of Scotland's remaining summer tour matches against the United States and Argentina with a knee injury.

Glasgow Warriors wing Jones, 29, went off in the early stages of Sunday's 48-10 win over Canada in Edmonton.

Edinburgh's Dougie Fife, 27, had been called into Scotland's squad as cover.

Warriors hooker Fraser Brown, 28, is also being assessed for a rib injury, while Harlequins fly-half James Lang, 23, picked up a head knock.

Gregor Townsend's side take on USA in Houston in the early hours of Sunday morning (BST) before visiting Argentina the following Saturday.
