Worcester Warriors have re-signed New Zealand-born scrum-half Jono Kitto on an undisclosed-length contract.

Kitto, 26, who has played for both Leicester and Harlequins in the Premiership, was originally signed on loan from the Tigers in 2017.

The former under-20 international has been with North Auckland side Northland since leaving Quins in 2018.

"It has been good to be home the last year reconnecting with family and friends," he said.

"But the opportunity to join Worcester was too good to miss. I really enjoyed my brief stint there in 2017 and met some good people that I am looking forward to working with again."

Kitto becomes Warriors' third new signing for the 2019-20 season following lock forward Graham Kitchener, who is also to re-join the club, from Leicester, and tight-head prop Conor Carey, who is scheduled to move from Connacht.

European Challenge Cup semi-finalists Worcester, who were beaten in the Premiership Cup last four by Saracens on Friday, are 11th in the Premiership, four points off the bottom.
