Duncan Weir & Sam Lewis: Worcester Warriors pair out for 12 weeks
- Published
Worcester Warriors pair Duncan Weir and Sam Lewis will be out for "around 12 weeks" due to shoulder injuries that will require surgery.
Both suffered tears in the same joint during Worcester's Premiership defeat at Leicester on 6 February.
It means Scotland stand-off Weir, 29, could return before the season's end, when he will join Glasgow Warriors.
Billy Searle is Worcester's other main fly-half option and will be back from a thigh problem in two to three weeks.
Meanwhile, Worcester hooker Matt Moulds is set to return in March after almost a year out with a foot injury.
