BBC Sport website users had hoped Liam Williams and Ellis Jenkins would be fit to face New Zealand in Wales opening Autumn Series Test on Saturday.

Prior to Wayne Pivac's Thursday lunchtime team announcement both were included in the most popular starting XV in our online poll.

Left wing Josh Adams polled the most votes, selected by almost 98% of over 10,000 teams submitted.

Late call-up Alex Cuthbert was the most popular choice on the right wing.

In the back row Dragons pair Aaron Wainwright and Ross Moriarty both received the backing of 96% of voters.

Moriarty was the top choice at number eight, with Wainwright picked most at six, and fitness doubt Jenkins edging out Taine Basham for the seven jersey.

Prop Wyn Jones was selected at loosehead in almost 95% of the teams submitted for the game at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.

The remainder of the front row - hooker Ken Owens and tighthead Tomas Francis - were also overwhelming selections, as were British and Irish Lions locks Alun Wyn Jones and Adam Beard in the second row.

Tomos Williams and Anscombe both received 56% of the votes in their half back positions.

Williams also polled 56% of the vote in the full-back berth. Should he be deemed not fit enough for his game your second choice at 15 would be another Scarlet in Johnny McNicholl.

You also voted for a Scarlets midfield of Jonathan Davies (86%) and Johnny Williams (38%).

Pivac is without England based players Dan Biggar, Taulupe Faletau, Louis Rees-Zammit, Callum Sheedy, Nick Tompkins, Christ Tshiunza and Thomas Youngs for the first of four Autumn internationals as this game against the All Blacks falls outside the agreed international window,

You can still pick your XV but your selections won't be counted towards the result - don't forget to share your picks on social media using #bbcrugby.
