Stormers eased to a bonus-point victory over Ospreys in the United Rugby Championship in Cape Town.

Two tries from wing Leolin Zas, further scores from Paul de Wet and Adre Smith and nine points from the inspirational Manie Libbok sealed the win.

Ospreys could only manage two Gareth Anscombe penalties before a late try from replacement Max Nagy.

The defeat completed a clean sweep of eight losses for Welsh sides in South Africa this season.

It has proved another unwanted losing record for the four regions this season with Ospreys, Cardiff, Scarlets and Dragons having already suffered 11 straight defeats in European competition.

Ospreys head coach Toby Booth had brought back the majority of his international contingent.

It made little difference as the Ospreys offered little imagination in attack and fell off too many tackles in defence.

After last weekend's h45-15 defeat to Lions in Johannesburg, Ospreys welcomed back eight players from Wales duty in a starting side that boasted 12 internationals.

Alex Cuthbert, Owen Watkin, Anscombe, Gareth Thomas, Dewi Lake, Tomas Francis, Adam Beard and Jac Morgan all started with only lock Alun Wyn Jones missing.

Stormers had made four changes from their win last weekend against Ulster and never looked troubled.

Anscombe opened the scoring with a penalty following a high tackle on Michael Collins before Stormers fly-half Libbok created a superb try for half-back partner Paul de Wet.

The hosts continued their rampant start against a weak Ospreys defence with lock Smith crashing over following a flowing move.

Anscombe responded with a second penalty before more passive defence from the Welsh side allowed wing Zas to power through Dan Evans' attempted defensive tackle.

Libbok missed the conversion but slotted over a penalty to give Stormers a 22-6 half-time lead.

Wales flanker Morgan proved a rare Ospreys inspiration in attack and defence before Zas produced the bonus-point try with an inspirational effort.

Anscombe missed a kick to touch which allowed the home side to counter-attack and Zas collected his own chip kick ahead to score.

Zas and Libbok were shown late yellow cards for professional fouls as the home side were reduced to 13 men but Ospreys initially struggled to cross the try line.

Ospreys finally scored with the final move of the match as replacement full-back Nagy dived over after collecting a clever Collins kick.

It was a rare moment of Ospreys creativity as Anscombe slotted over a final conversion in another away losing cause.
