Wing Keelan Giles continued his early season scoring spree with two tries to help Ospreys to a United Championship 32-17 bonus-point win over Glasgow.
Giles also scored a brace against Lions last week and will have impressed watching Wales coach Wayne Pivac.
George North and Reuben Morgan-Williams also crossed for the home side.
Glasgow responded with two late tries from Oli Kebble and Thomas Gordon but again failed to repeat their home form on the road.
It was a second away defeat for the Warriors after they had hammered Cardiff in Glasgow in between.
It proved an important first victory of the season for Toby Booth's side after a draw against Scarlets and defeat by Lions.
The victory was based on a powerful display from the home forwards, dogged defence and clinical finishing from Giles.
Ospreys and Wales will be concerned after fly-half Gareth Anscombe was forced off the field in the second half with a rib injury.
Tipuric missing
British and Irish Lions scrum-half Ali Price captained Glasgow in his first start of the season in a side showing five changes from the team that defeated Cardiff 52-24.
Ospreys left out captain Justin Tipuric who has played three Ospreys games after returning from a serious shoulder injury which forced him to miss last season.
The Wales flanker was replaced by Jac Morgan with Booth making four personnel changes from the side beaten by Lions.
Rhys Webb captained the Ospreys as North switched from centre to wing and fly-half Anscombe, centre Owen Watkin and number eight Ethan Roots returned.
Roots' afternoon action was brief after he picked up a worrying head injury in an attempted tackle on Fraser Brown.
The back row was taken off on a stretcher and required oxygen, and was replaced by Will Griffiths.
In a scoreless opening quarter, Glasgow flanker Ryan Wilson also came on for number eight Jack Dempsey who could not shake off a rib injury.
Following a scything break and clever chip, Ospreys had a try disallowed for Giles after referee Jaco Peyper decided television replays showed a knock-on from Webb.
The officials also judged Webb had not been impeded by Glasgow wing Rufus Mclean in the build-up.
Giles continued his try-scoring streak with an expert finish, nipping in at the left-hand corner despite the attention of two covering defenders. Anscombe converted from the touchline.
After Webb had spilled possession in the Glasgow 22, the visitors counter-attacked brilliantly through Cole Forbes, Sebastian Cancelliere and Price for what Glasgow thought was a try for Sam Johnson.
The score though was ruled out for a knock-on by Scott Cummings in the build-up. Anscombe and Tom Jordan then exchanged penalties as Ospreys led 10-3 at half-time.
Glasgow controlled the early second-half exchanges but the momentum was halted when Jordan kicked the ball dead attempting to set up an attacking lineout.
Ospreys lost Anscombe to a rib injury and he was replaced by Jack Walsh, but that disruption did not affect the home side or the in-form Giles.
The wing raced onto a long Webb kick after Watkin had stripped back possession for Ospreys.
There was a long discussion between the officials whether Giles was offside but the score stood.
Walsh converted and slotted over a penalty before Glasgow rallied and incessant pressure forced Ospreys to concede numerous penalties, with flanker Dan Lydiate shown a yellow card.
Webb typified the Ospreys' defiant defence with a try-saving tackle on George Turner.
With Ospreys down to 14 men, North benefitted from brilliant build-up work from Michael Collins and Walsh to score the third try, before replacement scrum-half Morgan-Williams sealed the bonus point with a fourth try.
Glasgow replacement prop Kebble and flanker Gordon completed the scoring with late tries but it proved little consolation for the visiting side.
Ospreys head coach Toby Booth: "We spoke last week about not winning a few key moments and how those moments decide matches.
"Today we improved our attacking display, but defensively we were impressive, holding a team out who put 50 points on Cardiff last week.
"It speaks volumes for the coaches and how they prepared the team."
Glasgow head coach Franco Smith: "Our performance wasn't as bad as the scoreline suggested, but we were too inaccurate and there were too many execution errors.
"We did well in the first quarter to keep them out, but we were forced to make too many tackles and didn't have enough consistency in the contact area.
"There were some important calls in the game that didn't go our way with a couple of the tries and the one we had ruled out by the TMO was followed by a penalty that made it a 10-point swing."
