Scotland v Wales was shown on the big screen at Principality Stadium in between the Plate and Cup finals for the fans, but those preparing for their were unable to watch.

Pontyclun were boosted by the return of former Wales Rugby League captain Shaunni Davies, who spent nearly two years out due to injury.

They could also call on second-row Charlie Mundy, who had been released from the Wales squad.

In the Plate, Burry Port had Wales squad member Jenna De Vera at centre with Mari Jenkins whose twin sister Rhian was at full-back with father Rob as team manager.
