Judgement Day: Principality Stadium will not host Welsh regional rugby double-header

Welsh Rugby's traditional Judgement Day will not be held at Principality Stadium this season because the venue is to be used for a different event.
Scarlets will meet Dragons and Cardiff face Ospreys on 1 June, with the double-header normally staged at the home of Welsh rugby.
Another event in early June is set to clash with Judgement Day, hence the need for an alternative venue.
Cardiff City Stadium is the favourite to host the two rugby games.
The event which will take place at the Principality Stadium around that time is yet to be announced.
A Taylor Swift concert will be held at the Principality Stadium on Tuesday, 18 June with the Foo Fighters playing seven days later. A Bruce Springsteen concert has also been arranged for 5 May.
Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) interim chief executive Nigel Walker said in October there would still be a Judgement Day-style event with the Professional Rugby Board (PRB), who run the professional game in Wales, in talks about where it will take place.
The event has traditionally been held on the final weekend of the regular season, around Easter, but has been moved to later in the year this season due to the World Cup delaying the United Rugby Championship campaign.
Cardiff City Stadium has a capacity of 33,280, compared to 74,5000 at the Principality Stadium. Last season's event, in April 2023, attracted a crowd of 41,139 for the two matches, with Cardiff beating Ospreys and Dragons overcoming Scarlets.
The venues on the official URC fixture list for this year's games, which will again take place on the final weekend of the regular season, have not yet been confirmed.
An alternative option is that the two matches are played at separate venues, which would mean Scarlets and Cardiff playing on their own grounds as they are the 'home' sides.
