Cardiff and Wales flanker Ellis Jenkins has been banned for three games after being sent off for a dangerous tackle against Scarlets.

Jenkins lifted Dan Davis into a horizontal position before Davis' upper body made contact with the ground.

It resulted in a 27th minute red card, with Scarlets going on to win the derby 29-23 at Cardiff Arms Park.

Jenkins will miss Champions Cup games against Toulouse and Bath, plus the Boxing Day derby against Dragons.

Lions lock Ruben Schoeman has also been given a three-match ban for making contact with the head of Dragons wing Ashton Hewitt after a badly-timed charge down.

He was shown a 25th-minute red card during Dragons' 49-24 loss in Johannesburg.
