Cameron Henderson: Leicester Tigers lock ruled out for the season
- Published
Leicester Tigers lock Cameron Henderson has suffered a knee injury that will rule him out for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old will require surgery after picking up the injury in Tigers' first-round Champions Cup win over DHL Stormers.
Henderson has started all eight of Leicester's competitive games so far this season.
This is the second serious knee injury of the Scotland international's career.
In October 2021, Henderson ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in a 48-3 victory over Worcester Warriors at Sixways.
Tigers have won their past four matches in all competitions and sit seventh in the Premiership table.
