Scotland: Northampton Saints' Elliot Millar-Mills earns call as Will Hurd and Adam Hastings drop out
- Published
Uncapped Northampton Saints prop Elliot Millar-Mills has been called up to the Scotland squad for the first time after an injury to Will Hurd.
Leicester Tigers forward Hurd has dropped out with a foot injury, while Gloucester fly-half Adam Hastings misses out with a knee problem.
Tighthead Millar-Mills' call comes at the age of 31 ahead of the Six Nations.
It means he could now follow in the footsteps of sister Bridget, who has played for the Scotland women's team.
Older sister Harriet, 32, has 60 caps for England.
Stockport-born Millar-Mills, who qualifies for Scotland through his mother, has had spells with Edinburgh and Wasps before impressing with Northampton since the start of the season.
Meanwhile, Edinburgh prop Javan Sebastian and Glasgow Warriors scrum-half Jamie Dobie will also train with the Scotland squad as they continue their recovery from injury.
