Harlequins have signed Wales wing Lisa Neumann from Gloucester-Hartpury.

The 30-year-old scored a try to help her side beat Exeter Chiefs in the Premiership Final last season.

The former Sale Sharks back - who has won 39 caps for Wales - was the leading try-scorer in the top flight in 2021-22 before joining the Cherry and Whites.

"I'm really excited for a change and a new opportunity at Quins," she told the club website., external

"I'm looking forward to getting started with the team and playing my rugby closer to home."

Quins head coach Amy Turner said: "Lisa brings a fantastic level of athleticism to our squad and is an exciting addition to our backs group.

"She's an experienced player at both club and international level and will bolster our back three with her carrying power and pace."

Neumann made her Wales debut against Scotland in the 2018 Six Nations, was named in the 2021 Six Nations Team of the Tournament and was one of the first 12 players in Wales to be awarded a professional contract.
