Ospreys chief executive Lance Bradley hopes they will start playing at a new stadium by the beginning of the 2025-26 season

Ospreys have signed Wales-qualified lock Will Greatbanks from French second-tier club Soyaux Angouleme for 2024-25.

Ospreys say the 21-year-old's father was born in Wales.

"Our strategy has been, and will be, to recruit players with great attitudes and high ceiling potential," said Ospreys head coach Toby Booth.

Greatbanks has made 10 appearances for his Pro2 French club this season, having joined them in 2019.

"Will has been cutting his teeth in a tough uncompromising league and shown these attributes," added Booth.

"We're looking forward to welcoming him to the team and seeing him develop as an Osprey."

Greatbanks said: "It's great to have the opportunity to test myself in a new environment and to do it at a club with the rich history of the Ospreys is even better.

"I've spoken to Toby and it was clear to see that something special is being built at the Ospreys, I can't wait to get started."
