Scarlets back row Ben Williams has capped a breakthrough season by signing a new contract with the west-Wales region.
The 21-year-old has been ever present this campaign with 17 appearances having joined in 2022.
"Starting against the likes of Leinster, Castres and in South Africa against the Bulls has been a massive learning experience," he said.
"It's surreal to think that a few years ago I was playing for Gilfach Goch."
Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel said there is "much more" to come from the former Wales Under-20s international.
He added: "Ben is a great example of a player who has worked hard and taken his opportunities, first of all in the Premiership and now in professional rugby. I'm excited to see him develop in a Scarlets jersey."
