Iain Henderson and Steven Kitshoff are fitness doubts for Ulster's European Challenge Cup quarter-final against Clermont Auvergne on Saturday.

Henderson picked up a foot injury Sunday's win over Montpellier with South Africa prop Kitshoff sustaining an ankle ailment in the same game.

Ulster have said their fitness "will be monitored" for the rest of this week.

On the plus side, Jacob Stockdale and Tom Stewart will be available after missing the last-16 contest.

Illness ruled out Ireland wing Stockdale last weekend with hooker Stewart missing the game because of an injury.

Utility back Michael Lowry will also return to the Ulster squad after missing last weekend's game following the concussion he sustained in the United Rugby Championship defeat by the Stormers in South Africa on 30 March.

Marty Moore, Kieran Treadwell, Callum Reid, Ben Moxham, and Billy Burns remain unavailable for Ulster.

Ulster announced last week that loosehead prop Kitshoff will leave the Irish province to return to the Stormers at the end of this season.

The 32-year-old signed a three-year deal, but Ulster said they had "mutually agreed" to draw his contract to a close.
