Exeter make two changes to their side for the visit of Bordeaux-Begles in their Investec Champions Cup meeting at Sandy Park.
Josh Iosefa-Scott is named at prop, while Paul Brown-Bampoe returns on the wing as Tommy Wyatt moves to full-back.
Chiefs are fifth in Pool 1 after failing to claim a point in their opening two games, while Bordeaux are second with a maximum return of 10 points.
Bordeaux, who are also top of the Top 14 table, make 10 changes to their side.
France winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey drops to the bench but fellow Les Bleus winger Damian Penaud is recalled to the starting XV.
"This weekend is a huge challenge," said Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter.
"They're a very good side, doing incredibly well within their league and within this competition.
"So, we know it'll be a challenge for us, but you get in the Champions Cup for a reason.
"We've always really enjoyed being in this competition, being in the big games like this – they're an important part of your development as a player, as a team and as a club.
"When you're in European competition, getting points from every encounter is pretty vital.
"Unfortunately, we failed to do that in our first two games so there's a bit of pressure on us now to try to achieve something."
