Aaron Wainwright, Elliot Dee and Rhodri Williams make immediate returns after Wales' disappointing Six Nations as Dragons host Ulster in Newport on Saturday.
The Wales trio come into a side 17 points adrift of Zebre at the bottom of the United Rugby Championship (URC) table.
Wainwright returns at number eight as Harri Keddie reappears at open-side flanker after being out injured since October.
Dee is back at hooker and Williams at scrum-half, partnering Will Reed while short-term signing Josh Thomas could appear off the bench as back-up fly-half.
Ulster make three changes, including the return of prop Tom O'Toole.
O'Toole takes over from Scott Wilson, who drops to the bench, with David McCann replacing Matty Rea in the back row and Nathan Doak in for Conor McKee at scrum-half.
Wainwright, Dee and Williams were all involved as Wales suffered a record 68-14 defeat by England in their Six Nations finale in Cardiff, condemning the hosts to a second successive Wooden Spoon.
While Dragons hope to improve their reputation, Ulster are two places above them, two points off Lions, who occupy eighth place in the play-off race.

Dragons boss Filo Tiatia said: "Ulster have a good set piece with big ball carriers like (Stuart) McCloskey. They have threats across the park so it will be a test.
"We've lost a lot of players since the first game with the Ospreys. It is totally different to what we've been playing the last six or seven weeks.
"It's given opportunities to some of the players at this level. Some have never played at this level, so they got exposed a bit earlier, which is not a bad thing, but we have opportunities to keep growing."
Ulster head coach Richie Murphy said: "If we want to keep our hopes up of playing at the business end of the season then we need to win, there's no doubt.
"The Dragons' league position shows they are at the bottom, but they have been very competitive, especially at home."
