Van der Velden signs new Exeter deal

Netherlands captain Linde van der Velden has signed a new contract with Exeter Chiefs.

The 29-year-old forward has been part of Exeter's squad since the club was established in 2020.

She has scored 14 tries in more than 50 games for Exeter, helping Chiefs to two Premier 15s finals and twice winning the Allianz Cup.

"Linde is a force to be reckoned with, and she is our force," head coach Susie Appleby told the Exeter website., external

"She is one of our much-valued originals who has helped us develop into the club we are today.

"She continues to be a leader on and off the pitch and I know the fans will be delighted to have her back at Sandy Park next season."
