Sale hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie and Saracens back Alex Lozowski are in a 36-strong England squad for next week's training camp.

Cowan-Dickie, who has battled back from a serious neck injury, has not played for his country since 2022 and came close to moving to France - and out of international eligibility.

Lozowski has been absent from the international scene for even longer, with the most recent of his five England caps coming against Japan in November 2018.

Harlequins back Oscar Beard, 22, who was called up to England's squad during the Six Nations but is yet to make his Test debut, is selected along with Saracens' back row Tom Willis and Northampton prop Trevor Davison.

Centre Henry Slade will continue his rehabilitation from shoulder surgery as part of the three-day camp, with Harlequins pair Alex Dombrandt and Luke Northmore also brought in as they recover from injury.

Sale's George Ford and Tom Curry are among those who will stay back with their clubs to manage their recovery from injury.

"After watching a competitive and high-scoring start to the Premiership season, I am once again looking forward to gathering the players together," said England head coach Steve Borthwick.

"This training camp is an important part of our preparations for the Autumn Nations Series as we continue to build on the cohesion we've developed over the past two campaigns."

England will begin their autumn campaign against New Zealand on 2 November, before matches against Australia, South Africa and Japan.
