Gloucester-Hartpury have signed Canada front-rower Gillian Boag for the 2024-25 season.
The 29-year-old joins the two-times Premiership Women's Rugby champions as injury cover after Wales hooker Kelsey Jones suffered a "significant" knee injury in May.
Boag has been capped 20 times by her country and was part of the Canada team that reached the semi-finals of the 2021 World Cup.
Head coach Sean Lynn said Boag will be a "great addition" to the squad.
"After Kelsey Jones suffered her injury last season, we're looking to add some more depth in that position and Gillian will definitely add that," he said.
Gloucester-Hartpury begin their pursuit of a third-straight league title against Leicester Tigers when the new season begins on 6 October.
