Exeter have signed former Worcester prop Flo Long for the forthcoming Premiership Women's Rugby season.

The 23-year-old dropped out of the professional game last season following the collapse of Worcester.

The former England Under 20 player will join former Warriors Taz Bricknell and Demi Swann at Exeter next season.

She is Exeter's second new signing this week after Loughborough back Georgina Tasker moved to Sandy Park on Monday.

"I am really looking forward to being part of such an elite environment," Long told the Exeter website.

“It’s really exciting to be getting back into things with some of the girls I grew up playing with, and I can’t wait to be backing them throughout this upcoming season.”

The former Bristol forward was called up to the England squad in 2021 but did not win a cap.

"An English prop is a precious commodity, so we are glad to add Flo to our group of forwards," Exeter head coach Susie Appleby added.

"We are fortunate to have several experienced front-row players in our squad and some impressive teenage talent, but we needed some players in the middle of these two groups who are still developing but also have match experience.

"Flo perfectly fits this requirement, and we are so glad she has decided to join us.”
