Cowan-Dickie has red card overturned

Luke Cowan-Dickie will be available for Sale's trip to Leicester Tigers on Saturday

Sale Sharks hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie has had the red card shown to him in the defeat by Saracens last week rescinded.

The England international, 32, was shown a 20-minute red card for a dangerous tackle and contact with an opponent's head at the start of the second half in Saturday's 65-14 game.

However, an independent panel has subsequently reviewed the video and ruled the punishment should be overturned.

Cowan-Dickie will now be available for Saturday's trip to Leicester Tigers (17:30 BST).
