Worcester Warriors have made Leicester Tigers prop Tim Hoyt their latest signing as they prepare for a return to England's second tier next season.

Hoyt made seven appearances for his former club in the Premiership Rugby Cup and one in the Premiership.

The 22-year-old has also played for England at the Under-20 Six Nations and for several teams including Chinnor and Nottingham.

"There's an incredible energy surrounding Worcester Warriors right now - it feels like the perfect moment to step in and make a difference," Hoyt told the club website.

"The opportunity to contribute to this journey was simply too good to miss."

Worcester have announced several new deals since it was confirmed that they would play in a new expanded 14-team league, rebranded Champ Rugby.

That includes reappointing Matt Everard as their head coach and a return for flanker Matt Kvesic.

Everard added: "Tim Hoyt is an extremely talented young tighthead.

"He has a big ceiling and I am hugely excited to see him grow and grow."
