Launceston windsurfer Imogen Sills says she is feeling confident ahead of her appearance at the Eurosaf Youth European Championships in Portugal.
Sills, the twin sister of windsurfer Saskia, gets her RS:X competition under way on Monday.
"I'm feeling quite confident. I've looked at the start list , externaland there's a lot of good competition here," she told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I've really been looking forward to it and I just want to get started."
Sills said she and her Great Britain team-mate Emma Labourne were enjoying the experience of being at a big event together.
"We're excited to be part of the team out here and we've been training and racing together for about five years, so I know her really well and it's really nice to be in Portugal with her," she said.
"The plan is to go out on the water but we're not really training - it's more just checking out the venue and making sure we're well rested."
