Britain's Aaron Heading won gold in the men's trap at the World Cup in Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates.

The 25-year-old, who won gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, beat Italy's Giovanni Pellielo by two shots.

"It feels great to win this medal. It's been tough. Pellielo is one of the best shooters out there," said Heading.

Olympic double trap gold medallist Peter Wilson will compete for the first time since London 2012 on Saturday despite only training for two weeks.
