Antrim's Mark Allen loses to Barry Hawkins in German Masters

Mark Allen crashed out of the German Masters on Thursday night thanks to a 5-1 defeat by England's Barry Hawkins.
The Antrim man had progressed to the last 16 by beating Dominic Dale 5-2 in the second round on Thursday morning but could not make the last eight.
The world number nine from Northern Ireland beat England's Nigel Bond 5-2 in round one.
Hawkins made the last 16 thanks to a 5-2 victory over Dechawat Poomjaeng of Thailand.
