Ipswich Witches have re-signed Adam Ellis as they look to go one better than in the 2023 season.

Former British champion Ellis was released by Sheffield Steelers prior to last season's Premiership final, when they beat Ipswich 92-88 on aggregate.

The 27-year-old, who has also won the league title twice with Swindon, last rode for the Witches in 2013 and 2014.

"I had a few options, but I'm looking forward to going back to Ipswich," he told the club website., external

"2023 wasn't very good... but it has been and gone now and there is not a lot I can do about that, so I am just putting it behind me."

The Witches have also signed former world champion Jason Doyle for a third successive season, and fellow Aussie Keynan Rew will also be with the team again in 2024.
