King's Lynn Stars have recruited three-time Premiership title winner Tobiasz Musielak and re-signed Michael Palm Toft for the 2024 season.

Polish rider Musielak joins the club from champions Sheffield Tigers, having missed out on last month's final because of a broken leg.

The 30-year-old also won the title with Swindon in 2017 and 2019.

Palm Toft, from Denmark, was a member of the Peterborough Panthers roster which won the 2021 Premiership.

"Tobi is a quality performer, I think he's proved over the last two years with Sheffield what a threat he is and what a good, solid top-end rider he is," said Stars team manager Rob Lyon.

"He's racy, determined and hard, and that's what King's Lynn are looking for to lead the team at No 1."

Lyon recently returned to the Stars because Peterborough will not be racing next year as their East Of England Showground home is to be redeveloped.

On the prospect of reuniting with Palm Toft, he added: "Michael can be a bit of an enigma at times, but what we're really hoping for is an injury-free season for him, because he's had two bad injuries in the last two seasons that without a doubt have hampered his scoring.

"I think it's fair to say he came back too early this year, but if we can get him back to his Peterborough 2021 form, which is only two years ago, he will be part of what should be a really solid side."

King's Lynn have also brought in Niels-Kristian Iversen and Ben Basso from Peterborough for next season.
