Madeline Perry has beaten Laura Massaro in the final of the Singapore Masters to claim her ninth WISPA title.
The Northern Ireland player had gone into the tournament on the back of a first-round straight sets defeat by Joelle King in the Malaysian Open.
Perry took the first two sets of the final 11-7, 11-8 but Massaro found her game to take the third 11-5.
However, Perry, who had not dropped a game in her three matches to get to the final, sealed the fourth 11-9.
The win came after just over an hour.
It was a timely confidence boost for the 34-year-old from Banbridge as she turns her sights to Australian Open where she will be defending champion.
