Hannah Miley won her second silver medal in as many days as she came second in the 800m freestyle at the European Short Course Championships.
The 23-year-old set a Scottish record of eight minutes 15.66 seconds in Chartres, France, after taking silver in the 200m medley on Thursday.
"I've changed my training programme and it's showing it works," said Miley.
Aimee Willmott took bronze - a first senior international medal for the Middlesbrough 19-year-old.
Miley, who finished seventh in the 4x200m individual medley relay final at London 2012,, external added: "I don't usually take the 800m event that seriously and I didn't have a particular race plan so I'm delighted with that result.
"I normally do this event at smaller meets, as part of the preparation for my medley, so I'm really happy to come away with an international medal and a new Scottish record."
Willmott was also thrilled by her performance, saying: "I couldn't ask for anything more today - a best time and to stand on the podium is an amazing feeling."
Lauren Quigley reached the final of the 100m backstroke, finishing seventh, while Marco Loughran was 10th in the 50m backstroke.
Siobhan-Marie O'Connor and Sophie Smith have qualified for Saturday's final of the 100m individual medley in times of 59.79 and 1:00.47 respectively.
Britain have taken an 18-strong team to Chartres ahead of next month's World Short Course Championships in Istanbul.
