Siobhan Marie O'Connor won Commonwealth gold in the 200m individual medley

Siobhan-Marie O'Connor won silver in the women's 100m individual medley at the European Short Course Championships in Netanya, Israel.

Hungary's Katinka Hosszu set a new world record of 56.67 seconds to beat 20-year-old O'Connor by 0.98secs.

Chris Walker-Hebborn took bronze in the men's 100m backstroke, Britain's seventh medal of the competition.

Adam Peaty - winner of three long-course world titles - qualified fastest for the final of the 100m breaststroke.
