French Open: Champion Na Li progresses to third round

Champion Na Li powered past Stephanie Foretz Gacon to reach the French Open third round.
Chinese player Li, 30, broke the French woman in the first game and completed a dominant 6-0 6-2 win in 52 minutes.
Ninth seed and former world number one Caroline Wozniacki also progressed with a comfortable 6-1 6-4 victory against Australian Jarmila Gajdosova.

Francesca Schiavone, the 2010 champion, also made it through with a 2-6 6-3 6-1 win over Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova.
The Italian, 31, who also reached the final last year, initially struggled with her serve but finished strongly to qualify for the next round.
Schiavone will now face Varvara Lepchenko after the American, ranked 61 in the world, knocked out Serbian 19th seed Jelena Jankovic with a 7-6 (7-4) 4-6 6-4 win.
Wimbledon champion and fourth seed Petra Kvitova reached the third round by beating Urszula Radwanska of Poland 6-1 6-3.
