Eugenie Bouchard and Petra Kvitova set for Wuhan Open final

Bouchard lost 6-3 6-0 to Kvitova in the Wimbledon final

Eugenie Bouchard beat Caroline Wozniacki to set up a final against her Wimbledon conqueror Petra Kvitova at the Wuhan Open in China.

Bouchard, the sixth seed, overcame Denmark's eighth seed Wozniacki 6-2 6-3 in the day's second semi-final.

Kvitova, who thrashed the 20-year-old Canadian in straight sets in the Wimbledon final, beat Ukraine's Elina Svitolina 6-3 7-5 in her semi-final.

"I need my revenge. I'm going to try really hard to get it," said Bouchard.

The world number nine said she had learned a lot from her first Grand Slam final.

"I didn't impose myself enough in the Wimbledon final, and she was the one controlling the points all the time," she said. "She played really, really well, so there wasn't too much I could do.

"I hope on Saturday I can do my thing more on the court and not get pushed around so much."

Kvitova said the Wimbledon final was not as one-sided as it looked and expects a tough match in Wuhan.

"I don't think that she was weak in Wimbledon," she said. "She's trying to take balls very early and she's returning very well, so that's something that she does great."

The 24-year-old is vying for her third title of the year, while the winner on Saturday will seal a place in the end-of-season championships in Singapore.
