French Open: Francesca Jones out in first round of qualifying

Francesca Jones reached the Australian Open first round in February
Britain's Francesca Jones has lost in the first round of French Open qualifying.
The world number 186 was beaten 6-1 6-2 by Russian top seed Vera Zvonareva, a former French Open quarter-finalist.
Jones, 20, made her Grand Slam main-draw debut at the 2021 Australian Open after winning three qualifying rounds, before losing in the first round.
Fellow Britons Harriet Dart and Liam Broady did make it through to the next round.
World number 143 Dart beat Austria's Barbara Haas 6-4 4-6 6-1.
In men's qualifying, Broady, the world number 146, beat Chinese Taipei's Jason Jung 6-4 6-2.
Meanwhile, the US Open will have no line judges this year, using Hawk-Eye Live electronic line calling on all competition courts in 2021, along with seven of the US Open Series tournaments which lead up to the final Slam of the year.
These include the key ATP Masters 1,000 and WTA events in Toronto, Montreal and Cincinnati.
Last year, line judges were retained for the Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong Stadium courts.
