Australian Open 2024 results: Lloyd Glasspool, Neal Skupski and Jamie Murray win in doubles

Britons Lloyd Glasspool, Neal Skupski and Jamie Murray all won doubles matches with their respective partners at the Australian Open on Saturday.

In the men's doubles, Glasspool and Dutchman Jean-Julien Rojer won 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 6-2 in the second round.

Mixed doubles second seeds Skupski and American partner Desirae Krawczyk won their opening match 6-2 6-2.

Murray and Russian partner Yana Sizikova also won 6-2 6-2 in the mixed competition.

On 1573 Arena, 11th seeds Glasspool and Rojer got past Swedish-French team Andre Goransson and Albano Olivetti to set up a third-round match with seventh seeds Hugo Nys and Jan Zielinski.

Skupski and Krawczyk beat Mexico's Giuliana Olmos and France's Edouard Roger-Vasselin on court 13 to set up a clash with Glasspool and Russian Veronika Kudermetova in the second round.

Court 13 also saw Murray and Sizikova, who gained entry into the draw as alternates, beat Argentine Maximo Gonzalez and Ukrainian Nadiia Kichenok. Sixth seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and Nathaniel Lammons await the British-Russian pairing in round two.
