The World Triathlon Championship Series heads to Abu Dhabi for the second meeting of the season on Friday, 5 November - and you can see it live on the BBC.

Tokyo Olympic mixed relay champions Georgia Taylor-Brown and Jessica Learmonth lead a strong British contingent in the women's race at Yas Island.

They will compete alongside compatriots Vicky Holland, Non Stanford, Ironman 70.3 world champion Lucy Charles-Barclay, Sophie Coldwell, Sian Rainsley and Beth Potter, winner of the last two World Cup meetings.

Tokyo 2020 gold medallist and current world champion Flora Duffy of Bermuda starts as favourite.

With British Olympians Alex Yee and Jonny Brownlee absent, and Tokyo champion Kristian Blummenfelt of Norway also taking time out, Tim Hellwig of Germany and New Zealand's Hayden Wilde are among the leading contenders in the men's race.

Gordon Benson, Sam Dickinson and Grant Sheldon will represent Britain.

Abu Dhabi will also host the World Triathlon Para Championships, with defending world champions Claire Cashmore (PTS5 category) and Fran Brown (PTS2) among Britain's eight competitors.
