Netball: Cook Islands 29-65 Wales

Wales' netball team secured a comfortable 65-29 win over the Cook Islands in the first of three matches on their South Pacific Tour.

Melissa Hyndman's side won every quarter of the game as Wales, ranked 10th in the world, secured vital ranking points.

A 14-strong squad has travelled to the South Pacific and 12 players featured in the victory over the Cook Islands.

They face fellow tourists Scotland on Monday before a second game against the Cook Islands next Wednesday.
