Wales were outclassed 24-89 by holders Australia in their final group match at the World Cup in Sydney.

Having also lost to England and South Africa in the second group stage, Wales finish bottom of Group F.

They will now face Malawi on Saturday, with the winner progressing to play in the 5th/6th place play-off and the loser into the 7th/8th place play-off.

Malawai beat Wales 55-52 in the only previous World Cup match between the two nations.
