Scotland suffered a 10-0 loss to Sweden in the play-offs at the World Wheelchair Curling Championships to bow out of the competition in Beijing.

Hugh Nibloe's rink had finished sixth in the round-robin having won six of their 11 matches.

However, they suffered a second defeat of the tournament against Sweden, who had won their previous encounter 9-2.

The Swedes, who finished third in the round-robin, now face Russia in the later semi-final.

USA beat Canada 6-4 to set up a semi-final with hosts China, who topped the standings with nine wins, one ahead of the Russians.

Scotland had earlier defeated the hosts, who are the reigning Paralympic champions, 3-2 on Wednesday.
