Great Britain's Matt Weston claimed World Cup bronze in the men's skeleton in Altenberg, Germany.
World champion Weston, 26, finished 0.09 seconds behind Germany's Olympic champion Christopher Grotheer, who was second.
China's Yin Zheng took gold, 0.12 seconds clear of the Briton.
Marcus Wyatt, who won the European Championship title in Sigulda, was seventh, while Jacob Salisbury and Craig Thompson were 16th and 19th.
Weston remains second in the overall World Cup standings behind Grotheer, with one race remaining in Lake Placid in the United States next month.
In the women's race, Tabby Stoecker, Amelia Coltman and Freya Tarbit ended up 10th, 13th and 20th overall as Germany's Tina Hermann took gold for the fifth successive time in Altenberg.
Great Britain have withdrawn from the World Cup bobsleigh competition taking place over the weekend because of safety concerns, with Swiss bobsleigher Sandro Michel in intensive care after suffering severe injuries in a training incident.
